The PostureSafe Backrest gives total support to:

• Head- as it is cradled in the adjustable headrest. .. up/ down/ left/ right
• Neck- with the weight of your head removed from your neck/ the muscles can relax
• Arms- at last your arms are supported as far down as your hands!
• Upper Back & Shoulders- with the weight of your arms removed/ again/ the muscles can relax
• Lower Back- the moveable/removable memory foam lumbar support means your lumbar region is supported at your comfort level.

Apart from the pockets in each armrest/ one of the other major features is that it reclines to the position that you want/ so it opens the chest and stomach area enabling easier breathing and relieving digestive problems.

The elliptical or egg shaped leg rest is totally adaptable to the user. It is easily rolled to your desired position and height. Whether it be used for supporting the knees, the lower legs or the ankles! This can also provide relief from varicose veins, swollen ankles, phlebitis and oedema.

The Posture safe comfort system is provided as standard with a quality cream cover, however, luxurious covers are available in four contemporary colours, along with a special infection resistant, waterproof, plain weave polyester cover* that is MRSA resistant and has been recommended for the NHS All covers are washable, and for your own peace of mind, the Posture Safe comfort system conforms to all required fire safety regulations (BS5852)
